2017 Favorites: Tampa Bay Photographer

Thank You!

I cannot believe that 2017 is coming to an end already! Thank you to each and every single one of you that has made me your Tampa Bay Photographer! It has been a great year for me both in my business and in my personal life and I look forward to amazing things in 2018. Just a few of the awesome things you can expect this coming year:

  • MORE blog posts. Lots more. I want to tell you more about whats happening here at www.LeShayne.com, introduce you to some of amazing people I get to work with at all sorts of events, give you tips on how to take better photos of your own family, and of course I want to share all of your beautiful images!
  • TONS of new products – gorgeous metals and acrylics to fill your home and office, stunning new albums perfect for the coffee table, and a line of gift items – ornaments, mugs, lockets, and more!
  • Partnerships with other amazing vendors

But before we can start 2018 lets take a look back at 2017 – just a few of my favorites!

Adam & Joie were one of my first weddings of 2017 and I have to admit they hold a special place in my heart because I have known Adam since he was just a kid playing video games WAY too late in my living room! But the light was perfect, the weather was gorgeous, and the connections between these two and their people was just so fantastic. Weddings can be simple and still gorgeous – know someone planning a simple but special wedding day? Venue: Philippe Park  DJ: Fast Breaks Entertainment

Meet the Gaylor Family – they were visiting friends in Florida and thought a beach session would be fun. What I love most about this session was that it was in fact capturing family time on the beach – while we did take some posed images these candid and oh so sweet poses were my favorite! When was the last time your family got these kind of images?

Another favorite wedding for so many reasons! I first “met” Angie and Mikey when they were guests at another wedding I was photographing but had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session. I also met their “children” – three sweet pit bulls who sure were friendly but not so thrilled with posing for photos! They set a date and signed a contract but unfortunately Angie’s dad fell ill and they ended up eloping to Vegas – but who wants to miss out on the party? So they held a nautical themed “Tying the Knot” Party at the Tarpon Springs Yacht Club and not only did the docks make for great photos but we got some beautiful keepsake photos of Angie and her dad. Don’t miss a minute…life is short, but sweet.

Meet Jess – she can usually be found creating truly awesome art work, managing the Palm Harbor Orangetheory Fitness Gym or loving on some rescue animals somewhere. She kindly humored me when I asked her to model for me and after walking the streets of St. Petersburg with this lovely human I got some of my favorite images of the year! Need new head shots? Images for your website? Dating site? Just because?

“I have not been everywhere, but it is on my list.” One of my favorite quotes and one that rings true to me! So while I had barely heard of a small town called Banff when the opportunity arose to take a trip there, I gladly packed my bags (with lots of warm clothes!). It was such a pleasure to meet these beautiful couples and to shoot in a new place. The mountains are breathtakingly beautiful and the joy these couples exhibited – picture perfect! Do you know someone getting married out of town? I DO destination weddings! Send them my way!

While I took so many more images that I absolutely LOVED I am going to wind this up with my very last wedding of the year. As a Tarpon Springs resident one cannot help but love the Greek culture and never more so than on wedding day. Large families, tons of food, and stunning church architecture. Matt and Alex had a very traditional wedding and then celebrated at the stunning Casa Bella Estate where gorgeous sunlight and greenery on the table made for an absolutely perfect evening. Surrounded my friends and family, who did both formal and funny well,  they danced through sunset and into the night!

It is my joy to capture your moments! I look forward to an amazing 2018. Happy New Year!
